About the Role

As a Nursing Tutor for the Netherlands pathway, you will support aspiring nurses in developing the knowledge, skills, and cultural awareness necessary for clinical practice in the Dutch healthcare system. Your role includes delivering online lessons tailored to Dutch nursing practices and BIG-register standards, while also preparing learners for their clinical placements in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of Dutch healthcare frameworks and a passion for inclusive, competency-based teaching. You will contribute to curriculum adaptation, offer learner mentorship, and help bridge language and cultural gaps.

Requirements

  • Valid registration as a Verpleegkundige (Registered Nurse) in the BIG-register (Dutch Healthcare Professions Register).

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or a closely related discipline, recognized in the Netherlands.

  • At least 3 years of clinical and/or teaching experience within the Dutch healthcare system or in a transferable context.

  • Knowledge of Dutch nursing protocols and community-based healthcare models.

  • Experience with digital teaching tools and adult learning techniques.

  • Ability to incorporate Dutch language and cultural orientation into the curriculum.

  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills to mentor and support international learners.
