About the Role
As a Skilled Trade Tutor for the Netherlands pathway, you will guide international learners through technical training tailored to the Dutch skilled trade system, including standards required for MBO-level positions. You’ll offer online instruction in areas such as installation technology, electrical work, welding, or carpentry, while preparing students for internships in Dutch trade environments. Your teaching will emphasize workplace safety (Arbowet), cultural norms, and EU-aligned competencies, ensuring learners are both technically and socially prepared to succeed in the Netherlands. Collaboration with curriculum teams and learner support will be central to your role.
Requirements
Certified trade professional in the Netherlands with qualifications such as MBO diploma (niveau 3 or 4) in a technical field (e.g., elektrotechniek, installatietechniek, bouw, etc.).
Registration in a recognized Dutch trade or vocational registry (e.g., SBB-approved certification or equivalent).
At least 3 years of hands-on industry experience in the Dutch skilled trades sector.
Knowledge of Dutch workplace culture, technical safety regulations (e.g., Arbowet), and certification norms.
Experience in vocational teaching or training in technical contexts is a plus.
Skilled in delivering remote instruction and digital learning content for practical fields.
Ability to prepare students for internships in Dutch trade environments, with emphasis on both cultural and technical readiness.
