About the Role
As a Skilled Trade Tutor for the UK pathway, you will prepare learners for entry into the British skilled trades sector by teaching technical skills aligned with UK industry standards and safety regulations. You’ll deliver online instruction in one or more trades—such as electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry—while also mentoring students on professional expectations in the UK. The role includes helping learners prepare for internships across the UK, focusing on Health & Safety compliance, tool proficiency, and workplace conduct. Your real-world experience and instructional guidance will be key in supporting students as they transition into hands-on roles in the British workforce.
Requirements

Registered or licensed trade status where applicable (e.g., JIB Gold Card for electricians).
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the UK trades sector.
Familiarity with UK Health & Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, workplace standards, and British construction site protocols.
Experience in technical training, apprenticeships, or adult learning preferred.
Competence in using digital tools for remote technical instruction (e.g., simulations, video demos, interactive platforms).
Ability to prepare learners for internships in UK-based trade environments, including professional conduct and site safety.
